Aerosoft heeft de afgelopen dagen absoluut niet stilgezeten. Microsoft doet het nu wat rustiger aan, maar Aerosoft ziet nog voldoende mogelijkheden om FSX gewoon lekker uit te breiden en ons dus te voorzien van nieuwe gebieden cq mogelijkheden om van FSX/Fs2004 te genieten. Zoals de bekende scenery “Manhattan“, maar nu voor FSX. Een paintkit voor de Bush Hawk XP, Een AES database voor in Google Earth, Previews van de Hamburg Scenery maar ook van kleine Afrikaanse vliegvelden. (Worden de nieuwe mogelijkheden van FSX goed in gebruikt – dieren/geluiden).

Manhattan X |

With almost 180.000 buildings and over 3.000.000 polygons Manhattan X is a very serious scenery (and yes you need serious hardware to run it) and it has been in development for nearly a year. The FS2004 version was one of the most successful scenery products we sold but for the FSX version almost 90% of the buildings were redone to full FSX specification. The result is nothing short of spectacular and as far as we think as complex as scenery can be build using current hardware. A mission is included that will let you fly one of the many tourist helicopters around what many consider the most exciting island in the world.

The Skyhawk is one of the most important aircraft in the world. Seriously! It might be small and very unpretentious but it has been build in massive numbers and was one of the most important trainers. Carenado done it to great detail in FSX. And amazingly enough the aircraft does the same in FSX as it did in real aviation. It’s unpretentious but a total joy to pilot around. The flight characteristics are totally predictable and will make even novices feel right at home.
